We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our team!
Your responsibilities:
Draft and issue formal notifications, letters, and contractual communications regarding deviations, non-compliance, or scope changes.
Identify and assess contractual risks during the execution of a project, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
Track key contractual deadlines, including contract duration, milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of project deviations and contractual events, supporting corrective actions or formal communications as required.
Assist in the preparation of claims related to delays, additional costs, scope changes, or other project impacts.
Manage contract changes and variations to support the company in maintaining the margin as sold.
Oversee the compliance and renewal of mandatory insurance policies as specified in the contracts.
Request and follow up on the issuance of the project acceptance certificate (or equivalent documentation) upon project completion.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of contracts, amendments, annexes, and related documents.
Handle contract-related claims and disputes in collaboration with legal counsel or other relevant departments, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Track and report on contract performance metrics and KPIs to ensure compliance and value realization.
Provide regular updates on contract status, risks, and issues to project managers and senior leadership.
Recommend improvements to contract templates, management processes, and internal procedures.
Your Profile:
Law degree required.
Proven experience in legal advisory and contract law.
Specialist in contract management, including handling of change orders and claims.
Experience in contract negotiations, with the ability to assess contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Experience in ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) or project-based companies.
Understanding of the Brazilian industry.
Advanced proficiency in English, with at least intermediate command of Spanish and Portuguese. Portuguese will be essential for reviewing contract documentation and for interactions with local clients and suppliers.
