We are currently looking for a Digital Finance Consultant to support our Group Finance function in international projects and system transformation initiatives. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension into a permanent role. We prefer full-time availability, but are also open to part-time (from 20 hours per week). The role follows a hybrid working model.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as an interface between Finance and IT, supporting communication and alignment across teams

  • Contribute to the rollout and optimization of global finance systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation and planning tools)

  • Support system transitions (e.g., on-premise to cloud solutions) and implementation of new tools

  • Maintain and enhance finance tools, including basic code handling and SQL-based data extraction

  • Take ownership of documentation (e.g., Confluence, Jira) and support dashboarding/reporting initiatives (e.g., BI tools)

  • Drive continuous improvement and harmonization of finance processes across the Group

  • Support monthly and yearly closing activities, including consolidation reporting

  • Contribute to integration of acquired companies from a finance and reporting perspective

  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders

  • Act as an internal consultant for digital finance topics, supporting decision-making and cross-functional initiatives

  • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, ensuring knowledge sharing and proactive problem-solving

Your Profile

  • Background in Finance, Business Intelligence, or technical education

  • Relevant experience in finance, controlling, consulting, or a similar field

  • Fluent in English; good German skills are a nice-to-have

  • Solid understanding of finance processes (accounting, controlling, reporting); IFRS knowledge is a plus

  • Experience as a key user or power user of finance systems (ERP, consolidation, planning tools)

  • Strong IT affinity, including the ability to understand code and work with SQL (basic scripting is a plus)

  • Experience in finance-related projects (e.g., system implementations, process improvements, consulting)

  • Familiarity with tools such as Infor, OneStream, Oracle HFM, or similar is advantageous

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across international teams

  • Self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently

  • Team-oriented mindset, with a proactive and supportive attitude
