For our Global Service IT organization, we are looking for a IT Platform Expert with a strong focus on Cloud, Container and Kubernetes-based platforms, who combines deep technical expertise with operational responsibility and acts as a stabilizing pillar within our Global Service IT organization in Sofia.
Your Responsibilities
- Deploy, Operate, maintain and further develop cloud-native and container-based platforms
- Support and enable DevOps and delivery teams in cloud and container-based project deliveries
- Support platform-related automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives
- Deploy and Operate hybrid cloud platforms (on‑prem & public cloud integrations)
- Support 2nd/3rd level service operations for platform-related incidents and requests
- Work closely with architecture, security and application teams
- Support standardization, automation and platform hardening
- Participate in global on-call rotation (low frequency, platform scope)
- Provide ocasional hands‑&‑feet / onsite support (e.g. hardware checks, basic connectivity, coordination with local vendors)
Your Profile
- 3–5+ years of experience in IT platform engineering or operations
- Strong hands-on experience with container and orchestration technologies: Kubernetes
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and concepts: Azure/AWS/GCP (IaaS/PaaS perspective), Networking, IAM, storage and security fundamentals
- Experience with: Linux-based or Windows platforms , Monitoring & logging solutions , Backup, disaster recovery and lifecycle management
- Good understanding of enterprise IT operations and ITIL principles
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code or automation (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
- Business‑fluent English; any other language skills are an advantage
- Structured, service-oriented and reliable working style
- Willingness to support hands-on activities in exceptional cases (minor share)
